Local administration

The general goal of the program:

Developing the ability of members of local, municipal and regional councils to determine the required competencies and tasks efficiently and effectively.

Providing members of local, municipal and regional councils with the ability to determine the required tasks according to their specializations and the needs of those councils.

Objectives:

• Development of local administration systems.
• The importance of local administration and its basic objectives
• Identify the elements of centralization and decentralization
• The system and units of local administration in the Kingdom
•  The role of local units in local development

Outputs: 

After completing the training in the program, it is expected that the trainee will be able to:

• Determine the development of local administration systems in the Kingdom in particular.
• Determine the importance of local administration according to its basic objectives.
• Determine the elements of centralization and decentralization according to scientific methods.
• Determine the competencies and tasks of local units in accordance with general regulations.
